Kashubian Folk Handicraft House
Opened in 2005, the Kashubian Folk Handicraft House in Swornegacie (renovation and modernisation of the facility supported by funds from EU programmes). With the creation of the new facility it has become possible to organise exhibitions of cultural relics in the Kashubian village. You can see the different types of tools once used in households (coffee grinders, tare washing, equipment for the manufacture of butter), as well as many useful tools for tillage (harrows, plows, drawbars for carts, hay rakes, flails for threshing grain) and exhibitions of folk art creations, such as embroidery. The Kashubian Folk Handicraft House, in addition to the presentation of local art, has also become a major point of tourist information, where you can stock up on souvenir handicrafts of regional artists such as wicker baskets, sculptures, paintings, as well as the popular “Pants Sworn”
